Is the inside showing up on the outside?

I was having one of those days where no matter how much I did or hard I tried, everything felt like it was falling apart around me. My house was a mess, my kids were arguing, I didn’t have dinner planned, I was behind on work and all I thought was, “I’m a failure. All of this is my fault.”

Before I knew who God really is in my life I thought He was looking down judging me and disappointed in all my short-comings. Thankfully I’ve grown my relationship with Him and know Him for who He truly is- a patient, loving, gentle, generous Father who sees my weaknesses and shortcomings and says, ‘It’s OK, I’m here to help you. You don’t have to have everything figured out,  that’s My job.’

In my own power, I can only do so much. But with God, I can rest in the confidence that He is in control. He knows the plan and can do superabundantly above and beyond ANYTHING I could achieve on my own. When it feels hard or stressful and you’re striving for control that’s the time to get still and remember, He’s got you.

Let go.

That might feel really uncomfortable to a do-it-all, multi-tasking mama who, like me, maybe prides herself on being in control and doing it all. That only gets you so far though. Imagine what else God has in store for you? When we loosen our grip and let Him lead, He opens doors, heals wounds, showers supernatural favor upon us and reveals pieces of ourselves we never knew were there. You are made for MORE and He wants to give it to you.

Ephesians 3:20 says, ‘Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this.

He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you.“

 Never doubt his ability through you.

He will achieve more than your biggest request, your wildest dream; that one you think can never happen. He will OUTDO THEM ALL and his power CONSTANTLY energizes you.

Take a minute and think about the things you’ve struggled with in your own power and secretly wish for help with. Jesus wants to do MORE than that for you. 

Don’t let fear and discouragement stop you today. Focus on the One who promises to do abundantly more in your life than your mind can even fathom IF you’ll trust Him, loosen your grip on life and believe...Have faith in His plan, it’s way better.
