Memorial Day Weekend = Summer’s officially HERE!

There’s just something about the kickoff of SUMMER! Whether you’re having a staycation or this marks the beginning of beachy travel plans, make sure you’ve got your staples ready for whatever these laid back days bring.

One of my must haves is a great pair of cut-off denim shorts. They’re easy to throw on and feel on-trend without trying too hard. They go with virtually everything and the right pair will carry you through the whole season. There’s lots of styles to choose from so don’t be afraid to grab a few pairs you’d normally not try and give’em a go! You might be happily surprised.

I’ve got favorite brands and lately, my go-to is AGOLDE. They’re a great quality denim, not too pricey, and while they’re distressed it doesn’t look over the top. There are several styles like high-rise or midi, button fly vs zip, and they offer several different lengths so you don’t feel like you’re ‘too old for this’. Couldn’t be further from the truth!

Pair them with your favorite sneakers, flip-flops, or even a wedge to go out. You will not be disappointed. Keep your look relaxed with a loose T-shirt or light sweater or go more hip with a tucked in tank or body suit.
